Managing Items
Once inside a session, users can manage the items involved by accessing the "Manage Items" screen.
Accessing the "Manage Items" Screen
Click the "Manage Items" button on the Session Details screen to view and manage all items associated with that session.
Features of the "Manage Items" Screen
Item List Overview
The screen displays a list of all items scanned during the session. Each entry provides detailed information about the item:
Item ID: The unique identifier for the item.
Item Description: A brief description of the item.
Item Price: The price of the item.
Available: The quantity of the item available in stock.
Nailed: The quantity of the item that is reserved or 'nailed down'.
BCL: If applicable, the BCL (Barcode Label) is displayed.
Comment: Any comments or notes associated with the item.
Purchase: A field where the user can specify the number of items the customer plans to purchase, defaulting to one.
Managing Individual Items
Remove Icon: Users can remove an item from the session by pressing the remove icon next to each item entry.
Related Items Icon: Pressing this icon allows the user to look up and add related items to the session, enhancing the session’s completeness and accuracy.
Inventory By Building Group: If you have building groups set up, you can click an item's card to see inventory broken out by Building Group.
Additional Functionalities
At the bottom of the "Items" screen, additional buttons provide more options for item management:
Scan Button: Enables users to scan new item tags directly into the session. This will be covered in detail in a later article.
Manual Button: For situations where scanning is not feasible, users can manually enter an item’s identifier to add it to the session.
